Terms of Sales - Champagne experiences tasting
By confirming this service (tasting reservation, in-store purchase, and order and delivery), the Client unreservedly accepts these terms and conditions. Please find below our General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC), which govern the service.
Thank you for reading them carefully.
Our tastings, gift vouchers, and product purchases are subject to the general terms and conditions of sale detailed below. It is the responsibility of the sender, the holder of the purchase or tasting voucher, as well as the client making the reservation, to read these conditions carefully and, if necessary, to pass them on in full to the user or concerned guests.
These GTC are available upon request, will be sent to you in all reservation request and confirmation emails, and are available for consultation in our store.
1. APPLICATION AND CONTRACTUAL COMMITMENT
1.1. Application of the GTC
The Client declares having read these General Terms and Conditions of Sale before validating their service. Acceptance of these GTC is formalized by the validation of the reservation or purchase. Any deviation from these GTC must be the subject of a written and signed agreement between OLFACIE - Dilettantes and the Client.
1.2. RESERVATION - PRIORITY COMMITMENT CLAUSE
Any reservation accepted by the seller is considered firm and final.
Any confirmed and paid reservation entails a time slot blockage and prevents the company from honoring other requests on the same date. No compensation will be paid in the event of client cancellation, even if anticipated, outside the conditions provided herein.
Any reservation must be confirmed by a signed quote accompanied by the requested payment.
In accordance with Article 1193 of the Civil Code, any acceptance of the quote constitutes a firm and definitive commitment. No postponement or modification is possible without the prior written agreement of OLFACIE - Dilettantes.
2. GIFT VOUCHERS: VALIDITY, RESERVATION AND USE ⚠️
2.1. Validity and Mandatory Reservation
Validity: The gift voucher is valid for the duration indicated on the voucher, including the expiration date.
Mandatory Reservation: Due to high demand, reservation is mandatory at least one (1) month before the voucher's expiration date.
Consequences of Non-Compliance with the Deadline (less than one month before expiration):
-
If no available date suits the beneficiary in the remaining month;
-
Or if we are fully booked;
-
Or if no sufficient response or availability is communicated despite our repeated solicitations;
Then, the voucher will be irretrievably considered lost and expired.
No postponement, exchange, or refund will be granted under these circumstances.
Responsiveness: Any lack of responsiveness or excessive solicitation leading to an unreasonable loss of time may result in the cancellation of the voucher's validity, without any compensation or refund.
2.2. Use
Eligible Services: The gift voucher is valid for our tasting services or for the purchase of products from the AOP Champagne (Champagne, Ratafia, Marc, Coteaux Champenois) in the boutique.
Single Use: The voucher must be used in a single transaction.
Formula Modification: In case of choosing a formula of lower value, no refund or credit note will be granted for the difference.
3. CONFIRMATION, PAYMENT & VAT
3.1. Reservation Confirmation
Only a confirmation email issued by OLFACIE - Dilettantes guarantees the reservation.
The Client is required to follow up with us by phone (+33 1 70 69 98 68) or in writing (dilettantes.boutique@gmail.com) if they do not receive it within 72 hours.
3.2. Payment Terms
Full and Advance Payment: Payment is made in full and upfront before the date of the service or the dispatch of the gift voucher, tax included.
3.3. VAT and Outside Europe
For purchases made outside Europe, the VAT not included in the initial payment is due, as the tasting is a service consumed on-site in France.
The gift voucher or reservation confirmation will only be possible after the receipt of the settled VAT amount. A payment link will be provided for regularization.

5. TASTING PROCEDURE AND CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY
5.1. CHAMPAGNE SELECTION - MODIFICATION FEES
Our Champagne Experience has been carefully crafted for a coherent journey. Any modification disrupts this balance.
Modification Fees: If you wish to replace one or more champagnes in the experience, a minimum supplement of €35 per guest (incl. tax) will be applied, along with a supplement of €55 per modified bottle.
5.2. DIETARY REQUIREMENTS / RESTRICTIONS
We make every effort to respond to specific requests (vegetarian, gluten-free), but we are not a restaurant.
Automatic Supplement: For two or more guests with dietary restrictions requiring a complete menu adaptation, a supplement will be automatically applied, regardless of the notice period, to cover the additional work and specific supplies.
Guarantee Period: Requests made less than 7 days before the event cannot be guaranteed. No refund or compensation will be granted in this case.
Vegetarian Option: The vegetarian option is only offered for 8 or more guests due to logistical and eco-responsible constraints from our partner.
Allergens: Despite the care taken in preparation, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of allergens (dairy, nuts, etc.), as our partners cook in shared environments.
Consequences of Failure to Inform: If the number or nature of specific dietary requirements, not reported beforehand, prevents the delivery of a conforming service, we reserve the right to cancel. In this case, a partial refund may be considered, up to a maximum of 30%. The Client acknowledges having been informed that any failure to provide prior information about specific dietary needs may result in the impossibility of service, without recourse or compensation.
5.3. PROHIBITION OF OUTSIDE FOOD AND DRINKS
Strict Prohibition: It is strictly forbidden to bring and consume any outside food or drink on our premises.
Penalty: Any outside product consumed on-site will incur a flat penalty of €50 per guest and per product consumed, charged immediately.
Coffee or other outside drinks must be finished before the start of the session.
5.4. WELCOME OF CHILDREN
Please note that the tasting is intended for an adult audience.
For any child over 8 years old, a supplement will be required (including an artisanal fruit juice).
If your child disrupts the tranquility of the session, we will kindly ask you to leave the cellar. No refund will be granted.
For any child over 8 years old present on the day without us being notified, a supplement of €50 will be required.
We remind you that we are not a babysitter. We ask you to supervise them, as the cellar is full of dangerous objects.
